'"Rooted in neuroscience, our approach uses somatic-based breathwork, bodywork, and coaching techniques to safely identify and address undigested emotions and physical tension laying dormant in the body. By developing somatic sensing skills, individuals move toward clarity and authentic alignment.”

about ellie

Hi, I’m Ellie! I’m working toward becoming a certified Somatic Breathwork Practitioner through the accredited Soma + IQ™ program, and I’m deeply passionate about helping people connect with their bodies and minds meaningfully.

Traditional meditation practices have always been challenging for me because I was focused on clearing out what I was feeling rather than learning how to truly feel, embrace, and let those emotions flow. Somatic breathwork was a game-changer—it helped activate those stuck emotions, allowing me to identify, express, and release them in a safe and non-judgmental space.

I live in Independence, MO, with my husband, two teens, and two dogs—Aspen, my playful black lab, and Roxy, our sweet senior German Wirehaired Pointer. You can find me exploring Kansas City, playing with my dogs, or creating charcuterie and grazing boards when I'm not guiding breathwork sessions. Oh, and I also make Kansas City Chiefs bracelets—go, team!

I host all of my in-person sessions at Megan's Yoga Tribe, a cozy private studio in Lee’s Summit, just off 3rd and Highway 50. I’d love to guide you through this healing journey—let’s breathe and release together.

Please note: I am not yet a licensed practitioner, as I am still working on my practicum. That’s why I am offering free in-person, online, and group sessions as I complete my certification.
